FYI on the Burgees

Just to keep everyone informed on the Burgees, I just got an email from the man who is making them and his father passed away this week. His father was 90 and was living with him at the time.

I told him to put our order aside and take care of his personal issues first. I hope everyone is in agreement about that.

I don't know if this will delay our order past the Newport TA meeting but if it does I'll get them out to everyone anyway, perhaps with El Shadai's help.

That was absolutely the right thing to do. The flags are important to most of us but in comparison to loosing a loved one they stop having significance. I pleased that you represented us in a compasionate and sensitive way. June is still a long ways away and getting the flags can certainly wait. We should all be able to contribute to the distribution effort, when the time is right.

Thats no problem here! Hay Rod I sent the check for the price of the flags only! If there is postage due just let me know! I will pay how ever you would like it payed! I never heard how or when this was to be payed back to you! Thanx....shakerfish!....
