Exclamation Mid-life crisis (pics)

I told myself I wasn't going to be one of those guys who had a mid-life crisis. But as of late, I just haven't been myself. The kids have all left home, work is very slow, I haven't been fishing and the gas prices.... Well you get the idea. So a few months ago, when I was in one of "those moods" my wife says, "Wouldn't it be fun to have a Harley?" Well it is cheaper than a girlfriend (and safer)!! So the next thing you know, I came home with this!!

If ya can't catch some chrome...RIDE SOME!!!

This is my wife on our 1st ride. Nice she gave me the Kitch'n Pass!!

nice ride Dave. Just call it good with the mid-life thing though. The bike is enough. Don't go riding off with a 21 year old waitress. You've got a winner of a wife. Please be safe on that hog my friend.

Very nice Dave. Crisis only in how to transport your rod on the bike to the wilson this fall and how to haul a 40 # nook home. Hope you did some thinking about this.

No dealer, I had a friend who had two bikes and needed to sell one. It's an 06 but he really kept it up. I looked at new ones but they were a bit out of my budget.

Bernie, I am not very spontaneous but I must admit I did pull the trigger on this pretty quick. Now I'm just taking my time and enjoying it. I had bikes before kids so its been awhile but so far so good!

Ahhh, the old " I just don't seem to be myself anymore, honey" ploy. Works everytime. My wife took me to Buck's Outboard in Sacramento and towed a new Arima home.Such a good wife.

Enjoy the bike. Living large.

Good catch on both accounts.

I think you can milk the midlife crisis several times before it starts to lose it's fizzz.

I think they (wives or girl friends) get to the point they have so much time and effort invested in you they just have to throw the dog a bone every once in a while.

I am starting to have early signs over here in Idaho myself..................

Getting older by the moment in Idyhoo

I guess being a Ford guy you can't really go the Corvette/matching muscle pants route.

Seems to me the bike is a pretty good second choice for a mid life crisis.
