Open Seat for Costa Rica Fishing

We have one spot that we need to fill for this trip. Travel with Capn' Dan, Bait boy, Gary the Hali slayer, and the New Hampshire kid.

Trip is out of Golfito, Costa Rico. Boat is C-Tales (30' Island Hopper) rigged for big game c-tales
Lodge is Los Gaviotas

Fishing days Four
Middle day is for sight seeing (canopy tour snorkeling or resting).
Two days in San Jose one for sight seeing (Volcano, clubs, whatever)

Trip dates are Sept 9th to Sept 17th. Everything is included after we reach San Jose, Costa Rica (Meals, Drinks, Lodging, Licensing, ect...).

Species (Marlin Blue and Black, Dorado, Big Big Tuna, rooster fish, and sail fish) there are also numerous bottom species available.

Guys this is a first rate trip at a great great price. I have verified this skipper through numerous references and by people at the sportsman show who know him and his reputation. The price for these trips is normally around $2000.

First $1200 gets it. Airfare this week is at $550.

$500 will hold your spot. $700 is due in July (45 Days prior to arrival).

I need to confirm or deny the rumor of elk hunting in CO this fall first. Heck, I might just take two straight months off.

Norrivdave, You need to hire me so that I can take as much time off as you. I get to take my first two months strait off next year if I make it that long before cut backs hit.

You would love this trip. Here is the information that the skipper sent us today. I will also forward it in a personal mail.


Dan, good to hear from you. The fishing has been good. A lot more marlin in
@ this time than usual. A friend's boat got a 400# blue yesterday. We had 6
sails & a 60# Wahoo the other day. If you want I can arrange extra day @ the
Del Rey when I book the 9th & the 16th. The rooms are about $80ºº & only 2
people per room (3 rooms) you can add the 6th person anytime.

The itinerary will be

Sept 8th approx. 9 pm Thomas will pick you up at the San Jose airport. After
clearing customs & immigration he will be outside with your name on a sign.
He will transfer you to the hotel Del Rey.
Sept 9th Del Rey
Sept 10th Thomas will pick you up at the Del Rey about 10:00 am & take you
to the Sansa terminal next to the main airport for the 10:40 flight to
Golfito. I will pick you up in Golfito about 11:40 when the flight arrives.
We will return to Las Gaviotas Resort. You will have 1 Bungalow (4 people)
& a single room with 2 beds.
Sept. 11th breakfast about 5:00 am in the restaurant & 6:00 am departure on
C-Tales for a full day fishing. Lunch, beer, sodas, tackle & license aboard.
Approx. 5:30 return to the dock & supper @ the restaurant & open bar.
Sept 12th same as sept 11th
Sept 13th free day for rest or sight seeing
Sept 14th same as sept 11th
Sept 15th same as sept 11th

Sep 16th I will return you to the Golfito airport for the 11:40 flight back
to SanJose. Thomas will pick you up & transfer you back to the Del Rey.

Sept 17th Thomas will pick you up @ the Del Rey & transfer you back to the
San Jose airport for your return departure.

To book the transportation & Sansa flights, I will need your flight # and
times on arrival & departure with all the groups full names.
The price $1200ºº ea for 5 or 6 people includes transportation in San Jose
to & from airports to the del Rey, round trip Sansa tickets from San Jose to
Golfito, 2 nights @ the Del Rey Hotel, transportation to & from Golfito
airport, 1 bungalow (4people) & 1 single room (twin beds) all meals from the
menu ( lunch on the boat), open bar & 4 days fishing aboard C-Tales. The 6th
person that you are working on would be great & can be added @ any time.
