I ate home canned Albacore, yummmm.

Last week my uncle (who lives in Fortuna, Calf.) sent me some of the Albacore he caught and canned . My wife and two kids all loved it. This helps me keep leverage , ,,. I will not forget, and ill remind her(the wife) how much she liked the flesh, when im getting flack about wanting to go catch one. I will declare victory when she falls in love with fresh. id. p.

Keta, I'll trade you a jar of my wifes famous "green tomato" relish for a jar of your smoked and canned albie? The relish is the best thing in tuna salad (Besides the tuna!!) Tastes wayyyy better than pickle relish. :smile:
