Charleston Tuna on Sunday
Looking at the new SST I'm definitely heading out on sunday. The water is there big time at 20 miles straight out in that massive plume. Haven't seen a good Chloro shot yet, but all else fails, we're headed out at 5:30. Anyone else want to join the hunt.

Re: Charleston Tuna on Sunday
Looks like your the lone-ranger .
20 miles sounds way better than 70 ,which is what they are saying north or you..
Im hoping to fish this week maybe thurs /fr/sat.
Let us know how it goes and good luck..

CH. 19 VHF, doesn't look like a glass flat day, but definitely fishable.

Re: Charleston Tuna on Sunday
Go get em Jim. I'd be all over it if the seas were a tad flatter. Either pull em in to the jetty, or flatten those wind waves a tad.
Good luck!

Re: Charleston Tuna on Sunday
We'll see what happens, the wind doesn't seem to be dropping down yet, but it'll be a morning call. Might just be breakfast in Charleytown.

Re: Charleston Tuna on Sunday
My guess would be get after it early and if the wind comes up you'll be surfing home w/following seas.
If not....breakfast is always good.

Re: Charleston Tuna on Sunday
Good luck guys! Heard earlier today from trusted source, "hoot owl", that a red Bolton from Windy Bay brought back fish (26 I think it was) from 30 miles straight out. BTW, the Bolton, Hoot Owl and myself are moored at the same dock.

Re: Charleston Tuna on Sunday
Would really like to get in on this but--at 4AM this morning the wind was still up and the buoy reports were bad. Afraid this old man is going to wait for a better day.

Re: Charleston Tuna on Sunday
Sorry, saw the same buoy reports, wind up at 5:00 am, went back to bed. Looks like the next shot at it is Friday so I'm eyeing it at this point depending on the untangibles.
