Default Salty Dog Apparel update 2/6

O.k., if all goes well I should have the apparel done by Tuesday of next week. The flags however are 4 weeks out.

As soon as I verify the pricing, which should be today, I'll email everyone their individual totals. Here's the quandry though, how do I get everyone their stuff, mail or in person? Any ideas? I'll be attending the Newport TA meeting so I can bring them with me then for anyone that's attending. I don't mind having a couple of "after hours" meetings on the east and westside of Portland to disperse items. Let me know what you think.

What I really want to avoid is having to spend a day at the post office trying to box up 100 different items and figure out the shipping costs for everyone.

Rod,

Let me know when is good for you and I'll come pick mine up... or perhaps it would be more convenient to pick a couple of evenings and hang out at Santana's and let folks come pick up their items. That would take care of the locals & semi-locals anyway.

You've done so much work on this already, I'd hate to see you go through the time and expense of shipping stuff out. Oh - and the post office doesn't do credit cards

Yea, that was the one Rod. Thanks again; see you in Newport on 3/15.

p.s. If there are other folks from the Albany / Corvallis area who ordered stuff, and will not be in Newport on 3/15, I'd be happy to be the "distributor" for them

Rod,

I'll be at the Newport meeting, and like Mark Mc, I'd be happy to distribute anything in the Albany/Lebanon/Corvallis area.

You've done enough (way more than enough) and you don't have to be a shipping clerk too.

Let us help.

Rod,

I would be happy to deliver all these shipments free of charge.....they would need to be packaged and addressed (even in a bag would be ok)...I work for a courier company that offers same day and next day service to every city in the Pacific Northwest........we could even collect the funds at the time of delivery if you would like...drop me a note if you are interested........

That's great El Shadai. Maybe we can have a couple of after hours meetings and whatever is left I could pass your way to deliver? I've got a lot of orders, around 52 different people so I wouldn't want you to have to deliver all of them.

As far as the out-of-staters, or the really long distance folks, I have no problem shipping your items and plan on it actually. I think in most cases I can send it priority mail for under $5 so no problem there.

Thanks for the ideas.

Lee/Rod: Whatever you two work out, if I can help, let me know.

Lee, you're going to make it to Newport in March, right? Do you plan on being up here before then? I hope so... especially if it means you have a JOB! Keeping my fingers crossed. The last two sounded pretty promising!

I plan on being in Newport for the March meeting there, so if it works out, could pick up my flag then. Would be happy to pay early if you need.

Thanks again for all of your efforts.

Mark Mc & Corrirod-

I don't think I'll make the 3/15 meeing, but I think my desk is by yours, Mark, here in 2U (Post EE33), yes? If you could grab my shirt at the meeting that'd be great.

I'm in Beaverton too, so I could pick it up from you if that helps. I'm not sure that I'll make it to Newport. Between moving, having a new machine being delivered about the same time and still working around the clock my time is limited.

I wish I had kept up to date about the last meeting, it was right down the road from the office.

Once again, a BIG to Rod for handling this!!

Rod,
Make it easy on yourself! I can either get it at the Newport meeting or pick it up when in Portland on other business (fishing!) When you know the damages, let me know and I will send a check ASAP.

Hey Diamondside, ya of course I can deliver to you, but I might have trouble finding the right cube. Does it say "Diamondside" on the seating chart, or.......? Give me a clue!

Send me an e-mail (waterwise@attbi.com) if you don't want to reveal yourself here.....
