Default Help!!

I am pulling my hair out. I have 2 issues going on in my boat. Maybe somebody here has experienced the same problems and can give me some advice.
Problem 1: I have a 2000 johnson 150 jet. It runs great but, it has an alarm that is going off when I run it. It does not matter the rpm's, slow, fast, it lasts about 15 seconds and goes off for a few minutes. Then comes back on. I have changed the water fuel separator(3 times) and the anti syphon valve. I don't know what to do.

Problem 2: My honda kicker which runs like a champ is sucking the ball flat on the hose, which is new, because it did it on the old one. Sounds like a restriction but I can't find it. Thought I would pick your brains.
Thanks.

Not much brain to pick from here, but I'll give it my .
I had a mystery alarm on an evinrude that was ultimately fixed by replacement of the oil tank level sensor. Didn't look bad and really didn't test bad, but if I bypassed it with a jumper the alarm stopped. Replaced the sensor and no more noise! The flat ball I can't help with, sorry.

Are you sure your fuel tank breather valve is open? If it's close to shut it may be causing the ball to collapse under pressure differential.

That would be my guess.

The alarm, could it be a bad sensor?

Use an air compressor to blow out the fuel line. There might be something up in the hose thats causing the stoppage. Make sure you blow the air in the direction of the ball valve indicated flow or you could ruin the check valve. Also might want to check the tank pick up line, it could have sediment on the bottom screen. Just in case make sure you have the ball valve flow pointing in the right direction.

Oil level sensor or the water temp sensor. As said try disconnecting one and then the other and you'll soon figure it out.
