Default Garibaldi crabbing

Can anyone tell me how the accuracy of the Marine forecasts have been out there lately?

I'd like to make an ocean crabbing trip, even if it's a short one in the morning, but the forecasts seem to get just out of reach. Any locals been able to run out and run back quick in the mornings?

Thanks in advance.

Not in this weather!!!!

Even if the ocean lays down then your subject to the coast gaurd opening the bar.

Your best bet would be to stay in contact with the coast gaurd about bar conditions.

Yeah I sort of figured but I just wanted to see if anyone had physically been out there and seen what the ocean was doing. Too many times during the summer and fall the predictions were alot worse than the actuals, especially in the mornings till about 1pm.

Thanks.
