Default Gooselake

Gooselake was awesome. Fishing was great. My family had luck all weekend. I finally started snagging them left and right on sunday. Had to pick the lucky fly. Caught and released quite a few and kept the top 5. Still love the fight the Brown's put on. All in all great weekend and yet another non accident free weekend. My finger and the boning knife didnt quite agree with each other. I will post my pics when I get a chance. Happy fishing

Yeah, I was up there. Great fishing....a lot of people though. I wonder if you can even get there with the fire and all.

We left Sunday evening. I got a picture of the fire. Brings tears to the eyes. Hunting Mt Adams will not be the same this year. I don't know if they have closed Goose yet. When we came into Trout lake, they were just closing the 23.

Yeah very sad..there has been a lot of dead wood laying up there for years and years. I am hearing now that they will let this thing go until rain/snow puts it out.
