Well it aint fresh sturgeon! Just got back from a smelt dipping sturgeon fishing trip.
Lots of action no keepers.......And I don't eat the bait!
I'm tired enough I think I'll go to bed without supper. I'll get enough snacks tomorrow durring the game to make up for tonights missed meal anyway!

Re: What's on your plate...
I wish I had some fresh sturgeon but had to clean out the freezer for a dinner party. Grilled Chinook, fried abalone, and crab cakes. But they still liked it.

Re: What's on your plate...
Shame on you, Ray!! Making chowder out of razor clams. lol, j/k my friend.
Yesterday we all feasted on smoked salmon, smoked tuna, fresh crab, prawns, and shrimp.
YUMMY!!
Oh, steamers, and oysters with cheese fondue.
Peace, Tom

Re: What's on your plate...
I marinated some fresh Sandy Smelt in the "smoked razor clam" marinade from the Washington Fish and Game razor clam site, and broiled them up. Really tasty.

Frozen enchiladas (it's what the world comes to when one's kitchen is gutted :depressed: )
Maybe tonight I'll dig out some leftover halibut fish & chips. No where near as good re-heated, but it'll have to do.

Re: What's on your plate...
Trying to clean the freezer out black cod and razor clams. Salad and french bread made a pretty good meal.
Need to start getting more stuff out of the freezer making room for springers.
