Thought it would be fun to set the camera up on a tri-pod and get some close ups of targets being destroyed. Maybe it's a guy thing but dang it's fun to blow up stuff! Had a good gravel pile for a backstop and I cleaned up my mess afterwards.
Pretty close range, about 45-50 yards. Shot the .17HMR off-hand but used the bench with the bigger targets/bigger guns.
The goal was to capture the mayhem and I wanted to make sure I got some great footage.
Here's a few clips from today.
.17HMR versus water filled aluminum cans. Note, there's a little lag time because I set the camera up about half way and had to walk back to my shooting point.

.22-250 versus water jug.....

.30-06 versus 5L outdated beer mini keg(best vid). A few co-workers and I have shot dozens of those outdated 5L keg cans, after they became undrinkable of course.
If you hit em' dead center they explode and sometimes fly. I like to hit em real low so they rocket around and twirl.

And five pop bottles with the .22-250, had a little jam problem after shooting the first two but got it worked out...
