Sponsored by the
Oregon Wildlife Heritage Foundation
Come join us at our 2004 Willamette Salmon Quest Fishing tournament. This year begins with a full day of competitive fishing, ending with a banquet, auction and awards at the Holiday Inn- Portland Airport.
The proceeds from this years event will assist the Foundation, in partnership with Portland General Electric, construct a 3,500 foot rearing channel for juvenile salmon and steelhead in the Clackamas River near Barton Park.
In November 2003, a consulting/engineering firm was selected for further site evaluation and to draw plans for construction. Construction is planned to begin June 2004. The overall project may cost several hundred thousand dollars.
Sign up today, either as a fisherman or guide, and join the Foundation in helping to provide off stream habitat for juvenile salmon and steelhead in the Clackamas River.
