I just saw a Ruger#3 in 356 Win on GA.

It appeared out of the box, and not custom (Unless someone used the standard forend and left the wood original.....which seems sorta odd)

It has been magnaported, so collector interest will be nil.

I never remember seeing a 3 in 356 ever. Can't locate it in any of my blue books. Is this a rebarrel? Or was it factory available at some point?

ruger custom shop maybe. it is not in my book $695 for a #3 ? i do not have an account with GA, it would be a nice gun for the safe

Sounds like a reboring/reballer deal.

ruger did chamber this rifle in other than book listed cartrages. employees could order them and ship it to be magnaported, i guess. it would be interesting to inspect it for correct markings. and then it could be a hacked POJ like the cracked chamber 375hh someone made out of a 375 winchester i read about
