McKenzie...HELP

Hi, I am new to ifish. I have my soon to be inlaws in town (wedding next week) and my father-in-law is has decided he needs to fish the McKenzie.

We are staying in the Blue River area for the weekend. Does anyone have any tips on fishing from the bank (where, what, when) and/or have any recommendations for a local guide.

Call Brian at the McKenzie Angler (541-736-5045) in Walterville. He's about the best guide on the river. If he's not available he can give you some tips. The upper river has been slow to heat up, but should turn on soon.
