Default couger sighting

just thought I would let you know a large cougar was spotted running up highway 170 about 2 miles north of marqum yesterday at about 4:15 am. It ran through one of my co-workers yard. The guy that seen it was right behind it in his jeep.He stoped yesterday after he got off work to tell the guy I work with who inturn told his neighbors because they raise cattle and goats.

My sisters kids were wading in the Pudding River off Kaufman Rd East of Salem a couple weeks ago and saw Cougar on the bank drinking water. That is a very poulated area. The Cat probably follows the river and ventures out at night to grocery shop.
It seems like the sightings are increasing rapidly.

How come I'm never lucky or unlucky enough to catch a glimpse of a cat . Of course I would prefer to see one during season, close enough to shoot, and have it pose broadside too

Young ones have to live closer every year to establish their own territory. River corridors are excellent travel routes.
