Fshklr,
I've always used an old single bed matress. Buy a waterproof cover for it and it fits perfect in the back of the truck. Just an idea for ya..............

Yep, they usually have a stack in there somewhere and they are a good size for your truck bed or camping.

Got mine ther last year. Picked up two and then cut it to fit around the wheel wells of the F150. With both pieces in, the only space that is not covered is about a 2 inch gap near the tailgate.

lmao Roy....I am looking for 36" wide to still have space for 3 - 150qt coolers for back to back TUNA trips this season...I want to ice em down and cark at home, so space is an issue, stowing one in the cab while I sleep.

I saw the ones at bobs, over $100 bones for a padI may have a lead on one for free.....

Thanks for the reply's, will stop by freddies later this afternoon and check out their stock.

Sleeping in the back of the truck most likely means you are out fishing and or hunting....And deserve the best night sleep possible for that adventure to have a great time.

Recommend you get the best foam money can buy for that job....Try a foam store and consult with them regarding foam density memory and recovery times.

Try Google search- sleep, foam, memory, cut to size

have a great time on your outings..........Bill

I ended up with the ones at Freddy's, I would say that the grade was a medium in firmness.

I bought 2 - 3" thick x 6foot long x 30" wide, and stacked em on top of each other, the mrs, sewed a mummy bag for it with draw strings for a removable and washable cover.

total cost, 39.98 better than any motel 6 I ever stayed in!

Fred Meyer Usually gets a whole bunch of the 5 inch Thick foam around hunting season ...

I got some there a few years ago.. It comes in 6 foot lengths and I think it is 36 inches wide..

Pretty comfy
