what to do with a old boat

Ok say you have a old wood boat not in ship shape.. Not worthy enough to out on the ocean any more... What do you do with it?
Down at Pacific City We burn our boats after there no use to us after there last fishing season is gone. But if any one can figure out a better why please dont hesitate to speak up..

Could be a good tax write-off if you donate it to a charitable organization? I'm sure you could do a search on the web to find one. I donated a car a couple of years ago that wasn't worth the half tank of gas still in it but it was worth a couple thousand dollars in tax deduction.

Yeah I dont know it kinda seems a shame to give away a boat you spent most of your life with. might as well give it a true funeral instead of making it suffer.
