Default Lenco trim tabs

I knew I was taking a chance buying these, and looks like I lost. The Lenco tabs have an electric motor instead of hydraulic rams, but are about the same price ($500) and ease of installation sold me on them. Well I put them on in the spring last year and used the boat about 10 times with the tabs, and then parked it in Sept. after my last tuna trip. I got in the boat this week to start working on stuff again and one of the motors is shorted out and gets hot. I hope they stand behind these things and give me a new one. Does anyone have any experience with Lenco tabs?
But on a better note I can't wait to get back out on the ocean again, even for bottom fish when the weather cooperates.
