Default The story

Ok every one here's the story.
One winter day my father and I were debating on wether the surf was to big to go out or not. Of corse him being down there with one of his freinds he had a couple of beers and was not thinking that clear as we got down to the beach he was so wasted that the surf looked small. (even though it was at least a 15 foot surf and one hell of a swell) and we were going out in a 22 foot Dory imagin me in the boat us going out me in the front of the boat puting my survival suit on and trying to flip our gas tank over because the stap broke as we cought air off one of the waves. Just as we get out there one of the Coast Guard helo's flew by saw me in the survival suit and decided to circle us until we headed in. Now you would think after all of that happening to us my dads freind would be smart enough not to come out. Well you would think wrong he was out there with us in his own dory just as we were headed in talk about insane.. that is one of many fishing storys I hope you enjoy thank Ifish group for the time you'll spend reading it.

Whew! Too real for me sharkbait. Hope you don't have any more stories like that one.
I grew up fishing from a dorry at PC. Don't know the name of the boat but Jim Arron owned her. It had been 20 years since I was on one last when I boarded then Minga (Rosy Rosenbalm's old boat) last year. It brought back many memories.
Welcome aboard!!!

Welcome aboard,

When I first went out on Big Blue in a small boat, it was with my good friend, Big Jon aka "Puffin". We were in his Green PC Dory. A very sea worthy boat.

The wind came up on the trip back in, and we got soaked.

Peace, Tom
