Boy, thats a lot of boat. I also think that is a hot deal. The aluminum alone is worth a good portion of that, and the truck looks like she will getter done!!!! Pilar, this is your dream boat!! You can now live in Newport and commute to Corvallis. At 18,000 lbs, the gal/hr crusing?

That is a get'r done utility boat. I actually like it. The Name of the boat is Ugly Duckling. Fitting!

Is all the propane heat and cooking coast guard approved? I didn't think you could use propane on a boat like that.

There have been two of those in Boat Trader for over a year. Haven't checked lately though. I think they were listed for like $65K and/or $95K.

Interesting, it has a diesel outboard, a Yanmar. I didn't even know there were any diesel outboards made.

I actually have been on board, in the lot. The workmanship was amazing. beautiful welds, even if the boat itself is ugly. The trailer was reall
ly wierd, it had an exendable tongue, careful here. Also had an interesting foil in the center of the hull. Absolutely no fishing deck, but what a beast.

Absolute waste of aluminum that could have gone to the manufacturing of quality beer cans.

I don't know much about running in the bay but if I ever saw that thing motoring in any direction remotely opposite to mine it would be granted right of way....

Was told it was used for a water taxi in alaska. one of three. called an artic cat or something like that. That central hydrofiol stabalizer thing looks pretty interesting. Aside from astetics, looks like the guy that built it knew what he was doing.
