Sportsmans Warehouse.....
Earlier there was talk about the Sportsmans warehouse in Salem, yesterday RJ and I went to shop for ourselves.
It was a good 2002 Xmas, we got everything we wanted.
My real point is that they have Tiger rods for 42 dollars, you will not beat that price I don't think.
Of course the 6/0 Penns were 134 to go with them.
PS> don't take your wives with you, unless they have the checkbook, and love you very much.

Re: Sportsmans Warehouse.....
I was there Tuesday night and the lady at the customer service counter said they'll be in the old Homebase store in Clackamas (off 205 at Johnson Creek Blvd, I think) sometime between April and June. About what we reported a month or two ago...patience all...

Re: Sportsmans Warehouse.....
The eastsiders get all the good stuff, when is someone going to move to the west side of town, besides Joes?

Re: Sportsmans Warehouse.....
Rod,
Don't complain at least you can drive there in a few hrs. Not like some of us that have to drive 4 hrs just to get to the edge of town. If BiMart can't get it Joe's in Medford is the next place (sorry Dog but Big R still won't do special orders) But Medford is only an hour drive, not like across Portland at the wrong time of day :depressed:

Re: Sportsmans Warehouse.....
Great store!!! First time I went in the store I had to take my wife, just in case I was unable to drive after.
Good thing I did!
I was in the store about five minutes before being rendered speechless. I walked around for two hours and didn't bye anything. It took about a day to process what had happen to me..... I'm fine now and able to shop there without assistance.

Re: Sportsmans Warehouse.....
The new store will be along 82nd drive here in the Portland area. Same building that Home Base was in.
