Angry Mar on my vinyl

I rubbed on a sunken log and marred my clear vinyl on the side of my boat. Has anyone any input or know of someone that has had success in rubbing something out like that? I polished a little with car wax but not much improvement.

try rubbing it with a little dab of Goof-off, it works for the black discoloration from plastic windows rubbing on bows. just don't use a lot.
Good luck

Get a piece of matching vinyl from the boat manufacturer. Over lay a piece and the only way someone will notice it is if they start looking realy close.

Yep, with a high speed buffer and it will take most of the "Mar" off. I buff out my clear vinyl every 6 months, just to make clean up easier.

I've got some cleaner with will remove the scuff, and also some free scraps of the clear vinyl protectant if you'd like some. Not much use for the small pieces left over from the big jobs.
