Required viewing on time management
This is so awesome!
Randy Pausch on time management.
That, along with the book I'm reading called
Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity
http://www.amazon.com/Getting-Things...3319716&sr=8-1
and we are better people, with less stress!

Re: Required viewing on time management
I haven't read the book but I remember seeing an interview with him where he talked about 'if you can get it done in less than 2 min; do it now'. I've really taken that to heart and I can testify that minor change in my thinking has really improved my productivity.

Re: Required viewing on time management
The book is by David Allen. Different, but along the same lines.
We spend so much of our time thinking about things that we don't need to think about. Those things all add up to more stress in our lives.
Get rid of 'em!

Re: Required viewing on time management
I should forward this to my boss. He wastes more time (his and mine) than any person I've ever met.
On the other hand, the more of my time he wastes, the more overtime I get.

Re: Required viewing on time management
I think I've read every darn self-help book ever published, and Getting Things Done is at the top of my list for actual results. Great book. I suggest using it in conjuntion with a book by Neil Fiore entitled "The Now Habit", about overcoming procrastination, unbeatable combo.
Thanks Jennie for broaching the subject and sharing Pausch, I will take a look.

Re: Required viewing on time management
The only problem with "getting it done" is actually reading it.
Once you do, though... you'll never think the same about things!

Re: Required viewing on time management
I watched the Randy Pausch video, excellent. I wonder if he is still alive? Anyway, thanks
