Default oil level

When I check the oil level of my Yami 4 stroke 90 it reads higher than the ideal line. What causes it to make oil? It only has about 200 hours on it and is a 2005.

Somehow the motor is getting gas into the crankcase. Three possible causes are:

1. Poor breakin ring seat.
2. Excess fuel being supplied to the engine.
3. Lots of low speek idle operation.

when the engine was first assembled it took more oil than the amount used during an oil change. a dry 350 ci Chevy takes 7.5 quarts of oil to fill a dry motor. but the best you will drain is 5-6 quarts during oil changes. like all engines there are little nooks and crannies where oil will hang out. oil pump and oil passages also. when the engine is tilted and lowered these areas have a chance to drain into the oil sump. try starting the engine and letting it run for a while. after shutting it down let it sit and then recheck the oil it should be fine. smell the oil if it smells like fuel there may be a fuel pump or carb problem.

If it's making oil, it has to be water or fuel. If it's milky it's water. If it smells like gas...well, you know the rest.
