Just wondereing if anyone's been to Yale lately? Trying to get up there this week if the kokes are biting. If not, I'll save the fuel for a later date.
I think the reason no one has replied to your Yale thread is no one is fishing Yale! I went there this afternoon after a slow moring at Merwin. I saw two other boats fishing the whole lake. One boat claimed 4 Kokes and the other claimed 2 for the entire day. In two hours I got nothing. I did mark quite a few fish on my sounder, scatterd and not schooled . Also, there was lots of smaller-sized floating debris in the water.

Both Yale and Merwin are slow.

VanDaddy, Thanks for the reply. The reason I like to fish Yale is for that very reason, not as many people and not as crowded as Merwin. But, by the sound of your report maybe I'll wait a couple of weeks and save the gas. We were there 10 days ago and got seven fat kokes for 5 hrs. Was hoping for a good catch report.
