Swimbaits and leadhead jigs
Looking to order 30+ swim baits and several heads for them. Does anyone know where to order more than a 2 pack and I just want to make sure they are strong enough for our tuna, both for trolling and casting/slide.
What brand do you recommend for swimbaits, we mainly use livebait down here but thinking of running this weekend and bait might not be available. What patterns do you recommend?
thanks.

Re: Swimbaits and leadhead jigs
It is A bit early for swimbaits here. but I would look for dark colours(black and purple) seems to be the best, run A factory powder coated head and you will be in bussiness

I'm not sure on the availability of more than a 2 pack but englunds has them in bulk and they also have the swimbaits themselves. I like the Channel island chovy color personally.. try both 4 and 5 inch baits. I have not run a side by side comparison on hookups but I think that will depend on the prevalent size of bait where you are fishing. as far as brand of swimbaits.. they all work. I like Tunabites and Fishtrap.
If you're in Cali I think englunds has a store in crescent city? give them a call and have them ship..

Re: Swimbaits and leadhead jigs
I think it's Eat Me Lures he wants, not Bite Me!
I don't think Mark Mc is selling Tunabites any longer, I think Eat Me Lures is now selling Tunabites. If that is not correct, I'm sure Mark will set the record straight.

To contact Eat Me Lures, go to the top, click on Salty Dog Sponsors, scroll down to Myrtle Bee and Eat me Lures. Myrtle Bee is listed twice, it's the second listing.
