I will be joining the in-laws for a weekend camping trip in the middle of July at Timothy Lake. I'm not a huge fan of lake fishing, so I was wondering if there is any quality stream fishing in that area. If so, what patterns might be effective at that time. Thanks!
At the old ranger station -fire camp up there you can park by the museume go in and say high to the very nice couple who work there, hear their story about the early forest rangers then ask them about the small stream that trickels through the camp and try it with very light leader and a floating line you can follow it from hole to hole and by the camp it is in a medow so casting is easy and despite how small it looks very nice fish call it there home.

Isnt that stream running through the meadow the oak grove fork of the clack. I have fish in the meadow a few times not big fish but the ones in there like a caddis in the summertime rp
