Default Albacore Anonymous meeting/Ifish holiday gathering

Hi all! Miss B Haven and I are trying to figure out when to do the December AA meeting. We were thinkin' it might be fun to do something a little more formal for the holidays. Start time would likely be around 7pm.

Thinking about joining you all If you'll have me. Ofcourse the 13th won't work for me though because I'll be in Eugene at the ODFW meeting. I'm not afflicted as yet but anything 12 step is good for me.

Hey - Where's all the Salties? What - no opinions out there - ya right! Looks like we can take Miss B out and go fishing if this is all the response we're going to get. Hmmm.... night fishing for walleye? Might have to change the time a little, Sturg will be open.
Maybe planning ahead just doesn't pay! Everybodies waiting for the Ocean Forecast before they commit?

This time of year it's hard for me to get excited about something so far off, especially with so much else going on.

Somebody asked "where are all the Salties?".
Did someone say "Formal"?

You may have scared them away!

What did you come up with here? I have to go to Salem sometime after Thanksgiving and might be able to show up.

Myles - I think Jen meant plan farther than 3 days in advance and give some choices as being "formal". No ties required (cept a palomar or a bimmini maybe). I told her I thought that everyone was waiting to see what the Ocean forecast was before commiting to a land event!

Formal party for a Tuna Pirate? Does that mean no rubber boots, raingear or waders and clean levis?

Hey everybody!

Clarification: by "formal" I meant everyone pretty much arrives at a given time at a given location and sits down to have dinner. If we have a large party, we'd probably post a menu and have folks pre-order. Kinda like a "banquet", but no ties or gowns... clean jeans would work fine for this affair. Yes, shirts and shoes would be required as well.

Anywho, now that I'm (finally) back in town and have (finally) gone FISHING and got the stink off my new reel, I'll catch up with Mel and finalize the next tunaholics meeting!

Last chance to put your $.02 in!

Okay, my brain is on stress overload here, but isn't the 7th the big Sturgeon challenge?
 That's really a good idea, cripple the teams with a big party on the 6th, send them out with a hangover!
