Default SO, how is your deck looking?

Most every year we have a discussion on the best deck treatment. Last year was no exception.

So, for those who put a new finish on their decks last summer, how does your deck look now? Are you happy with the results?

Last year I put on a product that I got at Miller Paints called Sikkens. I have to say that I am very impressed with the results. After cleaning this spring the deck still looks great.

In years past I tried Superdeck and a product from Rick's Custom Fence and was not happy with either one. The Sikkens product still looks new.

So, let us all know what you used and how it looks after our long, dark and wet winter....

Andrew

We're looking at replacing our top level deck with a Trax=type material. I don't usually go for Home Depot stuff but they say its guaranteed for life, doesn't stain, doesn't scratch. We're getting too danged old to keep having to clean/restain, etc. decking. I've never tried the brand you mentioned but have gotten something else from Miller Paint that was okay but, oooohhh, the work.

We rebuilt our wood deck last summer and used TimberTech composite deck material. Just got in from sitting on the deck, and dang it still looks good. Low maintenance and I don't regret anything about it.
