Bumper - Depends on what you paid. Are you taking her down to Port Orford this weekend for her maiden Tuna run?
Oh ya - The most imprtant thing on the list is "does she catch fish?"
By the way - the boars can help you name her if you would like. Gus O got lots of help and ideas!

Sounds great, congrats. Good fishing to ya. How much fuel does she carry? Hoping to get you down at the CR this next summer, we can always use more company on the runs! That is a 24 isn't it?

Bumper - You can get slips down there year round relatively cheap. Year round is same price as 3 months by the month. I use mine at least 4 mths a year and the big thing is, you always have it, no worry about which slip, access, all rented out etc.
I've heard the Chinook slips are even cheaper but don't know. I'd check Illwaco too if I was you.
Keep Rubbing and petting that baby all winter, wouldn't want her to feel neglected! See ya!

Congrats....I would be proud to get towed back by that boat

I think the price was real good...I paid twice that and didn't get anymore.

Looks good Bumper! Looks like a Tuna Killer if I ever saw one! Congrats!

Hope you haven't spent all your money though cause you'll need another $9000 to buy tuna gear!  Or you could be like me......barring anymore future purchases and I should have my 21% interest rate Visa paid off by 2010!

Bumper - save 250 bucks for a flow scan this winter too. You'll need to know your range real close with only 80 gallons and that V8. Easy to install, great peace of mind.

Bumper_chrome, Great!!! Even if it is a brand B. I feel sorry for the Berkeley, CA former owner. Probably gave up after the rockfish disaster.

Like corrirod said. Get a fuel flow meter. NAVMAN, the former supplier to Standard-Horizon, sells a fuel flow meter for $150.00. They also have some electronics like a GPS-fishfinder that integrates with the fuel meter. Consumers Marine Electronics www.cmelectron has them.
