Default Finished my savage .17HMR Finally! PICS!!

Savage 93R17 .17HMR w/accutrigger and bull barrel
BSA "Sweet 17" 3x12 40mm AO scope on burris zee rings
Leapers adjustable bipod

These things are serious fun. Shot pretty good with the cheapo simmons i had on it at first, shoots even better with the BSA. The bipod is perfect for hood of the truck, prone, or off a stump.

Total cost was only about $300, and most of that is the scope and rifle itself.

Nice gun Steve, just remember its not legal for your favorite bird, which we both know is the Coot aka Mudhen.

I'll beat it would put a hurting on some grouse.

Sweet Rifle!! I have that same scope on mine. I was shooting, and hitting, ground squirrels out to 150 yards. A range finder really compliments the set up. Range it, dial the scope, squeeze the trigger, repeat!! By the way that is my 3 year old sitting there tall and proud. He can't get enough of this shooting, hunting, fishing thing. Sweet!!

figured it out, not the mount, is was the turret, it was not tighten. only 1 screw was screwed by the person who boresighted for me.
I sighted in at 100 yards with out the turret set, shoots great, now I have to go back into the fields to sight with the turret on.
