 What is it about fishermen born in October that makes them a bit better  than the rest?

Re: October
What about all the fishers born in October anyway. And they all have 'J' names as in 'J' hook or something

Re: October
I hit 39 today! Ouch!!!
I think it's a tequilla night for me! My ultimate b-day present would be meeting the Ifishers at Depoe Bay for the end of the year tuna run -- sometime maybe....
cheers

Re: October
I'm suddenly feeling soooo old ... I turned 50 way
back in June. Huh, Maybe *that's* why I'm the worst
fisherman in two ports (Pacific City and Depoe Bay),
I was born in the wrong month!!

Re: October
New Ruling by ODFW, the State Attorney Generals Office and MATH (Mothers Against Tuna Holics) not to mention the Sturgeon General:
Due to high mortality rates (and low morality rates) among the "over 50" Tunaholics crowd, no one over the age of 50 will be allowed to fish for Tuna off the Oregon Coast, EVER AGAIN! :depressed:
Anyone turning 50 NEXT year (2003) is exempt and can continue fishing until they croak.

Re: October
8 knots - looks like just you and me in a few years! We can post pics for Keta and Assassin (since we're such nice guys  ).
We might let em go to a few TA meetings, as long as they don't get too excited.

Re: October
Oh ya - I almost forgot. Since I was born in June I should be able to catch (and keep) twice as many fish right? (Gemini - Twins- get it? )

Well... Feb. 1 I'll be 52, BUT...... I'm an Aquarian which automatically entitles me to an exemption to that new Oregon rule on tuna....THEY DON'T WANT TO AGITATE THE SEA GODS

Deepslayer- Anybody who raised 10 kids has to be in good shape (if they survived at all). I think you should fish for free forever!

Re: October
After 29 most people turn 30. Not me. I decided 20-10 was way better. On Oct 20, I'll be 20-31!
Exempt from the (ugh) 50 rule!

Re: October
Thanks Miss B Haven. The only thing it seems to get me is kicked into the minimum tax bracket, since I have too many exemptions. And they want to make sure and bleed me too.
