Went out for the opener and few were caught. We landed 1 clipped out of 4 rods.Out about five miles at 300' plus and troll shallow (about 10 to 20' deep. The bar was pretty rough yesterday afternoon but doable. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the report Rick.
Another week or two, and it should greatly improve.

It might be just a bit early for Coho numbers out of Winchester. Most all the coho caught there are Columbia River fish migrating south to feed as opposed to (mostly) north migrating chinook...water temps are really cold this year may have something to do with not such good numbers yet...that and the fact that there aren't good numbers this year period....

Left windy Bay @9:15 am Monday the 23rd. headed so. to drop 8 crab pots then stated trolling West. Got hit about 120 ft. of water pulling a green silver plug &landed about a 7 1/2# clipped silver. 4-rods in water. At about 200' picked up our 2nd keeper this was a nice 10# male.caught on a small AB& Al pulling a green & white fly with glitter. our last fish was a 4lb. keeper. Had to release 1- small king about 3 lbs. Ocean got rough early after noon so we picked up our pots & came home only one keeper crab, and one lost pot.
Tues the 24th left the dock at 7:50A , went looking for the lost pot found it with 6 keepers, then went salmon fishing , We had 3 on But all were non clipped. We had a beautifull day on the water was home by 3:30---Mike ---Waytogo----
