Question Info request on tent Trailers and collapsible trailers

I'm considering buying a tent trailer or one of those hard top trailers that the top collapses on but my only experience is with Motorhomes and campers. Do tent trailers leak when it rains? How about the collapsible one? Are there any brands to watch out for (good and bad)?

Thanks,
Doug

We camped in a Coleman tent railer for years. I'd still have it today but my wife insisted that we get a camp trailer with a bathroom.

Our's worked great. Easy to tow. Never leaked. A little noisy in the wind.

On our second one no leaks, no drips, no errors. First one was a Coleman, second one is a Fleetwood (they took over Coleman).

Tent trailers are very reasonable to rent. I suggest trying out a few to see what it's like first hand. The fiberglass tops don't leak, the sides are like tents and hold up well to most rain.
