Default Merwin & Yale Reservoir

Anyone been fishing up at Merwin or Yale , Swift Reservoir lately? I need a Koke fishing fix and any help would be great. Also gonna try Battle Ground lake if possible for some rainbows with a kayak. Tight lines , jim

5 in two days at Merwin, but I wasn't dialed in. There were being fish being caught by more enlightened fishermen.

Yale lake this weekend. Trolled a bit for Kokes but gave up and fished for trout near Beaver Bay Campground. Some good keepers. Warm, some breeze, lots of driftwood on the windward side of the lake. Good luck fishing up there! I suspect that my lack of Kokanee sucess stems from no fish finder and that I didn't want to motor to the damn. The trout were, however, plentiful and good size..

Late report, fished Yale on Sat and caught 7 kokes for about 7 hrs trolling. Fished across from the launch along with the other boats, seemed we did as well as anyone out there. Most of the fish came after 11:00 am and were still hitting at 3:00 when we had to leave for graduation party. Fish were between 20 and 25 feet, saw big schools on the ff at 40 to 60 ft, but all we caught at that depth were *********. Fish were nice size between 11 and 13 inches and plump.
