I'm not sure which was worse about that post, the fact you said no or the idea that you would give me the keys when you know I can't go anywhere!

My body was starting to go into convulsions. I lost consciousness for a moment as visions of leaving my wife danced thru my head!

O.k. I'm better now.

Have fun in Kauai.......you #@$!

When we went to Kauai this last winter, I went shopping for local fishing supply stores. I asked a couple of the charter boats where they buy their stuff. They said the Rainbow paint store (I think that was the name). Yes, they sell both paint and fishing tackle. They had a ton of hootchies (2+ walls from floor to ceiling). They had color combos I had never dreamed of. Of course I had to buy several of each (almost), I bought a bunch. I also picked up some jet heads. They had all kinds of them. Some had diamond eyes or albalonie inserts, others had holes drilled in them for awesome bubble trails. I put them with the hootchies for both salmon and tuna and they worked great. They even showed me how to put 2 hoochies on one head for that dual color, double thick look.
The store was in the town of Port Allen on the south side where the cats and charters go out of.
Have a great time.
PS I have some friends in Morro Bay we can hook up with for a half way point to San Diego. Road trip is right. We did it pulling a boat in 21 hours straight a few years ago. Catalina was fun to (we stopped there on the way back).
Be safe.

Hey Popeye, want to sell the JULIE ROSE III? I have a friend whose third child is Julie Rose. He just closed a 1.5M deal and is looking for a place to park his commission. I'll send him the full particulars minus the donut problem.

Popeye, my wife and I will be in Kauai in late January. I am wanting to find out about Peacock Bass fishing on the Island. I understand that it is great! While you are there see if you can get me some information. I will thank you right now, and hope to hear from you in a few weeks.
Have fun, but you do have to come back
