SST Prediction

Guys,
Not so good news for us tuna hunters.... My daily download from Nobeltec (that overlays my charts w/weather info) shows the winds and currents both pushing our warm water back to the spawning grounds :depressed: to top it off, NOAA is now forecasting 3'/wind 7'/swell for Sat. The weather guessers are wrong alotta the time, but I don't think those currents are going to change

Real time (yesterday - 4pm) SST looks like it's still doable out of CR. Temp is on the edge (59) breaks at the 46 125 line (bout 40 miles). We're still considering but that forecast is bad news. :whazzup:

Update...Today's Terrafin is a partial shot, but for what I can see, warm water is totally out of reach for us at Newport and Depoe. Still looks do-able out of CR but has moved out there also since yesterday

I thought the same thing when I looked at it.....it looks like crabs or salmon now.

Don't do that... They are still great party places. I bet the blender works great. Pour me another frozen concotion.
