Google Photo's of Streets WOW

New feature on Google. Last time I checked, it was limited. Well, its been updated. Amazing. 2007-2008 photo's. Its new to me, or least updated

Shows 360 View of standing in the Middle of street. zoom in, pan around.. etc. Scary too, Can now spy on folks & find houses easy.

Gooogle Maps
Zoom into your house location, or street.
Click Street View
Double click in the blue lines. Window will pop up. of location W/ photo's. (ONLY, IF IN BLUE )

NEAT!!...

The Camera car, can catch many things Standing on the Corners Um um working...

Where on the screen is the street veiw link????? I looked but could not find it..

Never mind went to another place and was able to get it to work...

Go to GOOGLE Webstie: Then Click on the Map Icon, (top Left corner of website).

Then that should give you map of the US.

dble click on oregon.. till you can see the cities.. then zoom in further.

once that screen is up.. should be Screenview on top of that window, as with Traffic, more, Sat's. Terrain.

Just click on the Screen view.. once you have city roads spotted.

This is a great feature for when you are moving. We are looking for a new place to rent and found that you can get a good look at the neighborhood without having to drive out there.

some of the photo's were taken in fall, of november 07. Least, few spots I found to have t-day decor on the tele-poles, with leaves falling.

Now, where is the swim suits?

funny I see this here today, I was just checking out that feature the other day.
It must have been a kind of a windy day, the flag in front of my house was caught almost blowing straight out,
My jeep, the wife's dodge and the boat are in front of the house but I think, the pics must have been taken sometime after July around my place because, around July I pulled my volkswagen out of the garage and it has been there all winter, but it is not in the pic. kind of cool and at the same time freaky!!

Very cool...I think.

Too bad they haven't hit our neighborhood yet, but then again maybe it would be better if they did it after we finish the remodel.

Very cool.

I remember when they took the photo. They were driving a Subaru wagon with a GPS antenna and camera on the roof. The door said Google Earth. I can see the outline of the car in the shadow on the ground. I can see the plate numbers on the wifes car�

Told the wife they finally found us.
We are safe though, they have the address and street wrong�

MY picture was taken last fall. The PU was parked where the Travel Trailer is and it was in the shop. All the leaves coming off the maples in front of the house.

It's really great when your looking for a home for sale and you can check out the neighborhood before you waste your gas to go take a look at the house in person. I love it!

It's handy for finding obscure businesses that might be in the back of another business or something. When you're zipping down the road, it can be difficult to find the street numbers on businesses and such.

OK this is really cool.

I show the wife and kids this feature by clicking on my Farther in Law's street and navigating to "Grandpa's" house.

As we are ooohhhing and awwwwing we see the wife's car in the driveway. And then I see my son on the front lawn! He got a real kick out of that.

hahah Do you remember seeing a car drive by with a big box of some sort on the top? That would be the camera.

I showed this to my aunt and uncle and the first thing they wanted to do was navigate to their old house in Portland. As soon as they saw how good the new paint looked and got a glimpse of their old neighborhood at was "Oh why did we move!!" "Oh the payments were so cheap!" hahaha.

I can't wait until they make it to Corvallis. I have been trying to find either me in my boat or my pickup with my boat in the back on Google Earth but have had no luck yet.
