Default Being able to see without glasses

Now I know somewhat why Jennie is so happy. I had one cataract removed and a lens put in that eye. It is now 20/20. They put a Contact in the other and now I am without glasses. First time since the fourth grade. The other eye will be done when I get back from the Elks Convention next month.

One problem, now I have to wear reading glasses to see the books that I read. I imagine that I will also need them to tie hooks etc.

Jennie has had so much pain and problems that I have always felt sorry for her but she takes it so gracefully that I applaud her. She still is always in my prayers.

My surgery was nothing compared to hers but in a little way, I can feel a deeper sympathy for her.
