Default Springers and Clancy Holt?

I am trying to get my Dad and Brother to come up and do some Springer fishin on the Columbia, i have heard that Clancy Holt is one of the best, do any of you guys have any experience with him? They are trying to get up and go around the 10th of April is that a good time? If Clancy is al ready full, which me might be considering how close we are to the date, can you guys recomend another guide for the Columbia? Thanks for somehelp guys!

Clancy Holt is one heck of a guide. If you book a trip with him you won't be dissappointed. I've learned a lot from his boy and where do you think he learned how to fish?

Clancy rocks! You can't go wrong with Clancy Holt but beware of the "(Clancy scowl)" And whatever you do don't bad-mouth Alumaweld boats around Clancy or I will be printing a missing persons story in the next day's Oregonian. The fishhog

Clancy is a really great guide. My dad and uncle used to go with him a lot.

That time frame is a good time to go for springers on the lower Columbia. I have fished with Clancy for years and he is great to fish with. If he is full for that time frame Ron (his son) may still have some openings. You won't be missing out in his boat at all either, he is right up there with Clancy.

Clancy is a new fairly new ifish sponsor and you can't go wrong fishing with him. I mean it. He's awesome!

You can find him on our Guide Pages

Of course, I wouldn't turn down a trip with any one of these fine guides! I'm proud to have each one of them. I really do check hard to make sure they are all tops!

Yep, he's super as well as Mr.Johnson and I also suggest ifisher Rappid Robert. That's Bob Barthlow, another ifish guide. Bob's a top notch dude who runs a top notch outfit!!! Who ever you pick, you'd better contact them asap, as they're all filling up FAST! Good luck, snit
