Videotape / TUNA

Last time out... there was an Ifish boat that circled me several times while reeling in several tuna. He told me that he was videotaping over the radio, and they had camera on board etc...

It was a hard top aluminum boat running handlines...we kept hitting the same fish over the course of maybe 2 hours.

Who was this...?
Can I get a copy of the tape?

Hey UG,

I was on the puffin on Thursday, and Phil had a video camera.. I have not had a chance to look at the video yet, but I am sure that Pilar has.

You were wacking fish, and we could't buy a bite.

The Puffin is an all aluminum boat, cab foward, with a soft top and a dive platform and a 130 hp Honda on the back.

I think it might have been us. Ask Pilar about the video, and I will try to get a hold of Phil and see about getting a copy for you.

Yeah.... I forgot about that... you guys were havin trouble with those fish... If I had been on your boat I would have been highly annoyed in that situation. Possibly the video has some choice words for the ugly green boat???

I don't know what might have been on the vid., but I can assure you that the talk Saturday was all respect about "that guy in the ugly green boat" and how "he just kept yarding in fish after fish.... it was the darndest thing... and all by himself, too!"

They may have been frustrated on the Puffin, but they sure were in awe.
