Cool "Bill" story..
Cool site from the Bill caught in Wesport last El Nino. Keta and me saw his bro last Saturday jumping like crazy amongst the tuna off Depoe Bay. Next year he's mine!

Gee, Thanks Corrirod!
I'm already loosing sleep and begging for a ride to score my first Tuna, now you got to light this fire...
Let's see.... Got cedar and a lath, band saw, wire, hooks, paint....
What do those cedar plugs look like anyway?
Let me know if you have an open seat sometime

Yeah, like I needed any more "encouragement"!
Mr. F: Wait until you see one of these out there in the ocean... or have a mysterious bite that rips the pole holder to pieces... then you'll know what that fire is REALLY about!

Re: Cool "Bill" story..
Tuna envy has me reduced to watching saltwater segments on the Outdoor channel. Yesterday, on Louisiana Outdoors, they were Yellowfin tuna fishing in the Gulf. They had outrageous photos of the 90-150# Yellowfin jumpers and the frightened bait fish scurrying ahead of them. They landed one @ 130# plus a couple others that went around 100#. Looked like fun to me. "That's what I'm talking about!"

I still have some credit left on the old visa card for gas Bruce, let's get into some trouble!
Well if nothing else, someone from Ifish is catching the next billfish in Oregon! Next year for sure!

Woooohoooooo!
Is it really that bad if you miss the birth of your second child! Surely my wife would understand........right? It's not like it's the FIRST child?
Hehehe....man I hope my wife doesn't read this!

Corrirod: Your wife might forgive you, but surely the child would be damaged for life.

Re: Cool "Bill" story..
Heck, he could name the new son Marlin. Yeah, that works!

Re: Cool "Bill" story..
I was thinking Hali if it's a girl, or Albie if its -- heck I guess that works both ways....or Nook -- well maybe I shouldn't go there.
Good luck Rod, let us know when you become the father of a bouncing baby girl, boy, fish, clam, crab, etc.

Re: Cool "Bill" story..
If it's a girl, why not name her Marlinette? It is an actual name that is used for the fairer gender. I looked at a spam email that just arrived; the senders name was... Marlin2. This is starting to get spooky. Maybe there is a Marlin on the way this weekend.

Re: Cool "Bill" story..
I ran the names by the wife and she actually thought Marlin wasn't too bad! hehehe
I told her Hali for a girl and Hal for a boy............she said "no".
We're having trouble with the girls name so I suggested "Hali Nookbacore Lee"......again "no".
Oh well, I'll keep trying. You're right Bugflicker about the permission deal, I've been using it for years!

Re: Cool "Bill" story..
Hey, I think Chinook would be a great name for a girl. She could go by Chi (pronounced SHY) for short.
It surely beats Wahoo!
