Default New To Group

Was out fishing around the Saturday Tuna team. Very nice how you all work togather to find and reel in those fish. thanks Puffin for the location. If I can help out on the water please call. We fish out of Newport it was 31 miles out to the pod which I understand was 26 miles out of Depot Bay So not a lot different.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all on the water perhaps this next Halibut weekend or ?

I was wondering when you were going to show up here... This Ryan Boat guy is a saltwater fish-catching machine and took me on my first chicken ranch run last year.

So how did you do Ryan Boat? I heard you talking to Puffin while we were out there late in the day and it sounded like you were bang'n a few.

Good to have you on the board!

The fish were all nice size We took home 14. The fish story was the one that got away. We were trolling hand lines and pulled this one to the boat and it got off at the rail (should have gaffed it) it looked around 40 lbs sure was a nice fish. Our best day this year was 49 Tuna After we peeled the meat off they took 400 lbs to be smoked and caned. Thank you for asking

Welcome aboard!

Glad to hear of your success on big blue.

Too bad about the big one, seems like its allways "the big one that got away".

The ifish connection on big blue is just awsome.

Corrirod, "puffing" ?? did you happen to get down wind of Big Jons boat?? On the Puffin, we tend to send up smoke signals at times, especially when flying the "Tuna" flag.

Peace, tom
