Carrots Corral Coastal Chrome (pics)

Made it over to the coast with good friend and pluggin master, Fishing Magician. This guy knows his plugs. We ended up having 5 POUND DOWNS on his masterfully chosen plugs and stuck 2 of those well enough to kill. The others were just teasing us, and one got away with one of John's more productive plugs. I guess I thought I was springer fishing with that hook set or something. [img]graemlins/dork.gif[/img]
After working some nice water over we decided to anchor up and take a break, while doing so I set the hook on an absolute pig drifting John's eggs cured up with CarrotMilk. Go figure. John thought I was being a whimp with this fish until he saw it.......................

Just wanted to let ya know I tried to find your spot above, and wasn't sure if I was in the right area. Needless to say, I tried a few other areas and found one fishee to come out and play. Hope to see ya up there more often now that I've met ya and knowing the river is closer than I thought, from here.
