Default Wishful fishing

Man this is hard. I'm stuck out here in the tule binkles and everybody I care about gets to go out on the flat ocean and chase the hot tuna.

If we can get some more flat ocean during the days immediately prior to Ifishstock I'd like to pay off some old promises. Mr. Fisherman you need to E-mail me and give me an update on your work hours and availability. Bait boy, if you could do the same I would appreciate it.

And Keta, I hear a rumour that you are getting out on Saturday but you are a guy I want to take out too. Let me know how it works for you. Lets see .... the boat seats 3 and ..... dang I may have to go a couple of days in a row.

Yeah ... that works. Now I can go back to the mill and kill another tree for my employer. It will be a little easier now ... just thinking of my friends makes it that way.

Jen good luck tommorrow .. just be yourself girl and those boys will be in awe of you. If you do get into Bill, be patient and play him out. You have lots of line and all the time in the world. The bend is your friend, keep it bent and you will land the fish.

BTW if you want the IGFA record or billing you must play the fish by yourself and no one can touch the rod or line but you until the leader is at the boat. Anyone can gaff of touch the leader.

My mate deserves the first billfish in Oregon this summer.

Go get em guys and girls.

John, I will miss fishing with you this time but there is always another day  . Sorry to hear that the job is going bad. :depressed:

I have another job interview south of Pasco, WA on Monday and maybe I will be back in the ranks of the employed. Then my boat fund will start to grow agsin instead of shrinking like it has been. Only $52,500 more to go!

My new boat (I wish)

Thanks for the advice John... and the rules. I'm pretty sure if we get into Bill, it'd be a team effort getting him to the boat. I've been hitting the weights hard, but...

As much as I'd love to land the first billfish of the season in Oregon, I'm afraid it would be a pale victory without you. Without Pilar.

And not to worry, I know these Salty Dogs will take good care of me. We'll take good care of eachother. It's that team thing.

John, we'll lift a fin for you tomorrow and raise the tequila bottle in your honor.

Wish you were here...
