Duck hunting Monument, OR

There is some good duck ponds around long creek, but they are almost all private. I would recommend talking to the ranchers in Long Creek. Maybe drop in for the church service on a Sunday at Long Creek Community Church. A lot of great ranchers, and hunters there!
Do you know anyone around there?

I can't be very specific, but I see a lot of birds in that area, more and more geese. I'm usually around deer season but I don't think they would be gone unless there was a major freeze up. I don't think the geese and ducks are hunted very hard. Honestly I don't see a lot of ducks. I think a guy set up in a field with dekes might be able to draw some birds. Like the post above says, it is almost all private through there.
