I would expect a lot of extra pressure (and campers) after an article on the lake in F&HN. It's like beating your head against the wall. But some folks like doing that...
Thinking about CrappieGirl's posts over the last month or so, I'm going to suggest that she/they pick a good lake and keep going to the same lake, until they really have it learned well.
Pick a good lake, with good structure, that you like going to, and fishes "big". A big lake that fishes "small" isn't a good choice.

What you've learned on that lake can be applied to any other lake you fish. Fishing a different lake every weekend won't teach you much, except how to handle frustration.
