Default Dexter Smallies?

My wife and I went up to Dexter to day and fished from 7am until about 1:30 with absolutely no luck for smallies. We did end up with a couple of norther pikeminnows and one rainbow when we were trolling. Most of the time we tried everything in the tacklebox. Spinners, rapallas, worms, buzzbaits, jigs. Water was only about 52 to 55 degrees, though. There was quite a bit of debris and a pretty high current comming through expecially by the covered bridge. Tried both sides of both bridges, trolled the south eastern channel. Tried the rocks along highway 58, by the new fishing area, and along the dam.

If it picks up I'll let you know. If someone knows a trick to get those smallies excited, let me know.

The fishing should pick up as soon as the water warms up.
