Default I\'m booked for Tuna out of Westport on Friday

After seeing the awesome pics of the great tuna action that has been happening, I dug deep and booked a trip with Westport Charters on the BlueEyes. We leave 2 a.m. Friday morning for Tuna Town. I was told second hand that a charter out of Westport picked up 100 fish today and around 50 both of the last two days. It sounds very promising if it is true. I live in Woodland Wa and fish mostly freshwater Salmon but have recently caught the ocean fishing bug. I will post pics of the trip. Thanks for all of the great info.

Hang around here too long and the salt starts seeping in. Have you started looking for a blue water boat, yet? <g>

I have a 21' North River Semi V that I go out in when the weater and bar are decent, so I am in no huge rush, but yes I have been looking for a 28'+ boat for running out farther in search of the halibut and tuna. I'm thinking a large C-Dory, Grady White, or one of the larger Trophy. No problem talking the wife into the North River but since she gets sea sick it going to be a harder sell for the big boat.
