My Dad, who is a tournament Bass fisherman, turned me on to Suffix DNA for my Steelhead spinning rods and I love it!!

Highly recommend it!!

DNA Superior and Titanium are all different lines, with different properties. Depends on what type of fishing you are doing, DNA is rather slick and limp.

What ever you think would work best on a casting reel ...
is limpness a good thing in this case ?

seems like the Chameleon is better suited for leader material due to it's resistance to abrasion ?? needless to say I could barely keep an eye on this line, I've got hi vis spooled now, was just looking for suggestions.

Oh Yeah, I'm running 10 lb. mainline and 8 lb. maxima chameleon leaders

I have used Suffix Superior, Titanium both in hi vis for 3 years and will not fish any other line. I use DNA for leader material and it puts Maxima UG to shame.

Dont use Chameleon leader, if you have to use maxima use Ultragreen, just tie a really good solid knot, it has weak knot strengths. give P-Line or Izorline a try. P-Line in Gold, or Izor in smoke. Far better and user friendly than Maxima.

For casting reels and spinning reels Ande line is always good and cheap. Just keep the line fresh, you usually get enough to do so a few times through the year. Ande is very good. I only use Hi Vis on side drifting rods, the only reason is when you have five or six rods fishing at the same time its easier to see where everyone is at in the drift. Fishing alone I never use it, it does make a difference.

Also if the water is clear, go to Flouro leader, Seaguar is expensive but worth it some days.

Ive been using Sufix Superior and DNA. Both of them are great lines. Ive used nothing but the 12lb on both spinning and casting reels. The Superior I use is the Hi Vis Yellow. I like the blue DNA.

Sufix is inexpensive also. you can get 2200 yards for around 15 bucks.

Its not as abrassion resistant as say, Maxima. I have yet to have it fail with a fish on.

Two thumbs up for Sufix, and this is coming from a die hard Maxima user.

I plan to order some of the suffic dna, can't find it here in Seattle.

Can anyone who uses this line comment on the visibility under water of the clear and green lines?

I plan to use it on a jig rod and tie my mainline straight to the jigs and like a line with low visibility.

thanks for the input

I have High vis green Izorline on my drift rod right now and I love it, it's really improving to tell when a fish lightly picks up my bait
